PRESSURE OR LEISURE

Which color font should i use to represent Singapore? Red la kot hahaha. Anyway, I just came back from Singapore on Xmas eve and Xmas for funla because my aunt said that shopping there during those times its like heaven cause of the discount rates. It's crazy I'm telling you.

During xmas eve, the discounts were like 20%,30%,40%. but during xmas, hiked up to 70%!! how insanely crazy is that. Yeahla, new year coming up so they wanna get rid of the old ones and bringing in the new seasons.

You know, I feel that people spend too much money on their clothes and accessories. I mean, GUCCI, SALVATORE, HUGO BOSS, AIGNER, those exclusive and classy brands offers a really high price of items. Lets take the shirts that I saw at Aigner cost at the range of 400-800 Singaporian Dollars. Just for a shirt would cost RM1200. Gila ke apa dis people?

When I look at the money flowing into the cash machine I wonder, what if we take the money for people who really needed help. I mean, Rm1200 can provide food for months. Aish... maybe I'm just thinking too much huhuhu

A1GP 2008-Malaysia

I had a trip to Sepang last month to give support to our Malaysian A1GP Team . It’s been the xxx time I have visited Sepang F1 Track, but for sure this is the first time I had a chance to watch the race closely at the grandstand. Usually the grandstand ticket are much expensive than the hillstand ticket (especially during F1 Season). This time, the organizer is providing free tickets for the locals in order to give support to our Malaysian team.

A1GP is a world cup of motorsports. Each team represents their nation. A1GP 2008 is now more exciting with the switch to Ferrari who will supply engines and chassis to all teams together with Michelin as the tyre supply which will makes the competition a lot more challenging.

It’s not only A1GP race, we were also entertained by the MSS (Malaysian Super Series) just before the feature race of A1GP.

Local hero: Fairuz Fauzy

Slipstreaming Team A1 India (I think)

Fairuz waves his hands to the local fans as a sign of appreciation who gives him support during the race.

Fairuz finishes 10th due to pit radio problem causes by signal interference with other team pit radio which saw he pitted during the crew wasn’t ready for a stop (it was another team pit radio asking their driver to pit). However, he did a great job making on his lost ground to take 10th position and at the same time, making the crowd happy with the overtaking maneuver and his dedication.

SLR vs Compact Digital Cameras

In photography,
it’s all about light. Without lights, the world will be blackout by
night. Without lights, plants and trees will be unable to do
photosynthesis process which transforms the harmful carbon dioxide into
oxygen that enables other creatures to live. There’s also plenty of
useful usage form lights that created by the Almighty Allah S.W.T. He
doesn’t create something that is only a waste or didn’t bring any
benefits to human. Only us, the human didn’t realize or think about His
magical creation.

Photography, to some people this might be not an interesting topic
to be discussed or shared. Some of us might think that photography is
just a simple work by taking a camera, point at your subjects and
pressing the shutter button. But, for photographers, this might be
interesting subjects to be discussed. Lights, aperture, exposure,
shutter speed, lenses and so on are the key aspects in achieving a good
and professional looking picture. You can’t just simply point your
camera and shoot at your subjects in order to achieve perfect pictures,
but all the key aspects that I have stated before, are the most
important things to consider since they plays an important point in
achieving good pictures.

To achieve this, one might need a good camera. Nowadays, digital
cameras have replaced the good old trusted film cameras. The difference
between these two cameras is technology. Analog cameras uses film that
are very sensitive to light. So, when a light passes through the camera
lenses, it captures every moment of lights that passing through the
lenses. While digital camera did operate in the same way as the analog
camera, but it doesn’t using film at all. Instead, it was replaced by
CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) or a CCD (Charged Couple
Devices) sensor which is also sensitive to lights. But, with these
sensors, you can review your picture before it is taken. Usually CMOS
sensors are used in cameras for taking pictures while CCD is often used
in video camera due to reason such as power consumption.

Usually,
normal compact digital cameras are equipped with small size CMOS
sensors. Smaller size CMOS sensors tends to generate noises when the
ISO setting (or also known as film speed during the analog camera era)
are set too high. ISO is a setting inside the camera which makes the
camera more sensitive to lights. Also, smaller CMOS sensors produce a
slither low quality images compared to the bigger ones. The reason why
compact digital camera utilizes smaller CMOS sensors is because of the
size of the sensors. Since it is compact, the manufactures decided to
reduce the size of the sensors. That’s why some professional
photographers still consider buying a digital SLR (Single Lens Reflex)
camera for their photography needs. Since it’s a little bit big, it can
house a larger CMOS sensor. Thus, it will produce a good result when
compared to a compact digital camera.

The reason why this type of camera is called the ‘SLR’ because it only
have single lens that enables light to go through the CMOS sensors or a
film. Surely a digital SLR uses CMOS sensors to acquire a picture.
While it has only single lenses, the word reflex means the mirror
inside the camera that will reflex or turn up when the shutter button
is pressed, allowing lights to go through the CMOS sensors and record
them as an image. The mirror actually provides and reflex lights from
the camera lenses to the viewfinder which is used by the photographer
to compose and take picture. While SLR uses ‘real’ image viewfinder,
which means what you have seen is what you capture, compact cameras
uses ‘fake’ image viewfinder. Normally, this camera uses other lenses
in front of the camera in order to enable the photographer to compose
his image. However, the picture taken might be slightly different since
it doesn’t provide 100 percent accuracy of the real image taken.

SLR also provides full manual control, whereas the photographer gets
all the freedom he needs in order to achieve good pictures. They can
manipulate all the settings like aperture, shutter speed, exposure,
focus point and so on to produce excellent image. Some compact digital
cameras did offer some of these manual options, but, when it comes to
SLR, you will get a total power of manual controls.

For
example, a camera with an autofocus function might focus a subject
perfectly but at certain time, the autofocus system might be confused
with the subjects that it tries to capture. Consider this, when you are
trying to shoot a picture of a bird through a cage, the autofocus
system might be confused. It might focus on the cage instead of the
bird. So, this is where the manual focus function will play its role.
Users will be able to set the focus point manually rather than trusting
on the autofocus system.

Another advantage of SLR camera is the wide range of lenses that a
photographer can choose from to achieve his imagination. A normal
compact digital camera didn’t have the ability to expand its lenses or
interchangeable lenses. SLR did provide this. You can choose a wide
range of lenses to suit your use based on your subjects. For example,
you might need different lenses to shoot a landscape picture, a group
of people or doing close ups. It enables the photographer to expand his
needs and creativity in order to achieve good pictures.

Of course, while there are advantages of SLR cameras, there are also
some disadvantages. The first one is the size. The sizes of the SLR
camera are pretty big and bulky, so it needs to be handled properly.
Compared to compact digital camera, one can carry this camera inside a
pocket while an SLR camera might need one to carry it by either holding
it or putting it inside a carrying bag.

The second one is the costs. While the body of the SLR camera it self
does burn a hole in a pocket, the price for the accessories is also
pretty high. For example, some of the lenses are sold at the same price
as the SLR camera only. Thus, one might need plenty of funds in order
to invest to fulfill his interest in photography.

A SLR camera also needs some technical experience. The photographer
needs to know things like the terms (aperture, shutter speed, exposure
and so on) and the good settings of combination in order to achieve
excellent results while and after taking pictures. Users also needs to
handle and take care of the camera properly since SLR camera are more
prone to dust due to the interchangeable shooting lenses which could
give effects to the picture taken. So, a good technical experience is
needed in order to handle the camera properly.

Photography provides excellent example on how one can appreciate life’s
and expressed their creativity. It’s an art where all the results are
presented on one picture. Like one of the most popular proverbs has
said, a picture is more worth than a thousand words

Drag Battle in Sepang Circuit-My first time stepping into our very own circuit, so if you would ask me how was it? well, i found the substitution for liquor and full bass from clubs….well, sort of

i’ll start off with my journey there…

So for starters i saw a yellow Ferrari Modena 360 at MRR2 highway…an indicator to a great evening at Sepang. (if i’m wrong bout the model, please do correct me, i’m just a idiot driver)

with our pumped up blood circulating in our vanes and the mixture of fuel and burned rubbers scent everywhere and not forgetting the open roads, nothing else to do except, rempit kau-kau

it was a great experience going there looking at the cars doing a 400 m run less then 12-15 seconds. the sound it generates while you are standing next to the barrier is something you have to experience it for yourself.

it starts when they are revving up their car for the launch part, and waiting for the lights to go green. as a spectator beside the barrier, the sound it makes when the beast is release is simply indescribable. while waiting for it to passed right in front of you, your heart begin to pump and soon you can feel the vibration from the pavement transmitted to the bottom of your feet and a second later, it just passed right in front of your face any everyone will be looking at the other end to see who win.

wont be my last attending a drag battle event, will be going for more..

end of LITTLE square white boX

Finally it happens although there were alot of signs that was showing it would not last any longer since the last 3 weeks or so. So i made up my mind to stop using it by keeping it aside for now, before throwing it away after i get my new Altec Lansing 5.1surround sound!

Having a hard time understanding what i’m trying to say? Well, the picture below will sum up the whole thing.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

It was two years ago since i bought this thing from Penang Pc Fair and i was so happy with it, since it was my first. As soon as i reached home, i did nothing but downloading songs and blasting it whole day. That hobby of mine haven't change till now. I just love blasting it out loud.

It was all white in colour when i first got it. But like many things that i owned, it will never stay the way it is for long. I took a can of spray and i sprayed the outer layer of the casing and did some design of my own. i even took a marker and wrote ‘Special Edition’ on both of the speaker. Made my brother laugh when he saw that. Thought spraying it will be the last thing i’ll do to it but after some time, i started to draw on the woofer casing.

I love it so much but i guess, its time to change to better, bigger, louder, and …..cant think of a word…erm BAD ASS sound system. just cant wait to Rock the World ( or perhaps, just the residents of PV 10)

even Sponge Bob is in there too, but this version of Sponge Bob is with red eyes!

well, thanks for entertaining me for so long buddy, but its time for a change! hehehxxx

i really really really like this sound system thing, so much that i even have one in the car..it helps when you’re having a freaking bad day and turn it into a super nice day!

Genting DRIVE me crazy...!

Picture of the day

The story....

Started with a hunger for Station 1, so we left for our lunch

Destination reached in 5 minutes

My favourite drink

After filling up our stomach, we end up..

End up entering EXIT 803A...Genting Highlands
The first Guard Post
And minutes after....we reached our destination

It was a bad decision for going up there since it was school holidays. Finding a place to park the car was an issue, not to mention bumping shoulder while walking around and kids screaming while mothers running and chasing after their kids and la~la girls and boys everywhere..

after walking around for some time, felt really warm and hunger kicked in again, so we went outdoor and grab ourselves some snacks!
Sweet potato for her

And pancake for me (strawberry and kaya) super crispy!

Started walking around again..and she stopped by Padini and got herself a pair of shoes and a pink shirt (seems like she cant stop shopping)
Suddenly thought of whats been missing.....

Pratha cheese sausage-my favourite! They used to have an outlet in Queensbay Mall, Penang but close after 3 months of market testing. Anyway, its roti canai wrapping the cheese sausage together with some veges and mayo and chili sauce...yummy!

So what do you do after you eat?

Well, we eat again...
Some spy shots
minutes before and after
Was preparing to leave the Genting at that point..
Back to Kuala Lumpur...
Misty all the way
Exiting the guard post

All together it was great day, fell in love with Bakery since they provided a good outdoor sitting area for some eyeing activity since Starbucks is getting more and more crowded nowadays. The journey back was ok and upon reaching Setapak area, went for dinner ****......erm yup, we ate again...

journey back hOmE

Hmm....! i just came back from state of Klantan. Well, I was welcomed by Monsoon Rain.
I'm not that *jakun about the Monssoon Rain because I was born and raised in the East Cost.
i can still remember, when the is no sun for weeks and it rain heavily. I can still recall when I visit my uncle who lived in Kota Bharu during the monsoon. There is no heavy downpour but suddenly the water level began to rise. It was like as festive for the citizens because it was hot at Kota Bharu. I can see people play with water everywhere and not to forget i also play with water. Kota Bharu is like my 2nd kampung. I will visit the state every year. The state is very unique, the people is also unique and not to forget the government is unique also.

I managed to take the 1940 flight using Airbus A330 from the West cost. The take off was a bit horrible but the journey only took me about  30 minutes. With a smooth landing at Sultan Ismail Petra airport, I was welcomed not just by my best buddy but also the weather. We straight away have our dinner before i checked in at Junior Suite Renassaince.

A bit horrible for me to stay alone at the hotel and because she can't sleep with me so i ended up sleeping alone. The breakfast was perfect. Nice food, nice people and the decoration is very nice. Then my buddies come and fetch me. We go around the city in MyVi.  I bought a sampin, even though the sampin was not that beautiful as the Terengganu sampin (the sulam emas sampin) but I bought it for my brothers. Besides, we went to Kg. Cherang for our lunch. You better try it because the *Nasi Lauk is very delicious. Evening at KB was exciting, with raining cats and dogs and traffic jam every where especially if you are heading to Tumpat and Wakaf Bharu. Shopping at KB Mall is not much different from shopping at Kinta City. Just to waste our time, we just go to Secret Recipe for our early dinner. That night i went to my friend house and we managed to cook *sata ikan (like otak-otak) and eat it. Night in KB is like night in New Zealand not much to offer but the people have time for their family.

The next day, i went to Wakaf Bharu Train Station and board the Gading Emas train at 0931. It only have 4 coaches including the generator coach. I seat number was 5D and next to me is a very beautiful girl. I didn't talk to her since her parents sat at the back of me, so i just spend my time looking the beautiful jungle. the jorney from Wakaf Bharu to Gemas was very smooth. there was no delayed like i expected. The journey took me 13 hours. I arrived at Gemas Station at 6.00 p.m. and the train continue its journey to KLS at 1900 and arrive at KLS at 2201.

thats what i call a very short story of my epic journey.
Till then see you soon.
Bye bye
